The ModIO M100 provides a general purpose I/O interface unit with a Modbus RS-232 and RS-485 serial interface for communication with a Modbus Master. The ModIO may be used as a Pendant controller, Toolchanger or additional I/O
The I/O capability of the ModIO is;
- Firmware upgradeable via Serial port.
- 8 discrete inputs. Active low with internal pull-ups
- 8 discrete outputs capable of driving relay coils
- 2 MPG inputs that use discrete inputs 3&4 and 5&6
- 3 Analog inputs, 0 -5v dc, 10 bit resolution
- 1 Character LCD driver for 20x4 LCDs
- 1 Interface for DigiSpeed controller
- 1 Expansion bus interface for adding additional I/O modules. (to be added)
Unit is supplied with;
- 1 x 3" serial cable (DB-9 to 10 pin IDC connector)
- 4 x Mounting stand-offs
- 10 x 0.1" jumper headers
- 1 x 6 pin 0.1" header connector to match DigiSpeed Header
