Hi Peter, I am really excited with the new TurboTaig board and Mach2. I have never, in the 2 1/2 years that I have own the mill, seen the mill run so smoothly. It is almost scary to watch it run today compared to what I had before. I pushed the speed up 25 ipm exact cut, running a 60 degree cutter through micarta to cut a 3-D plate of 'Madonna and Child' by Rembrandt. I would have lost one of the axis before if I had tried to cut it faster than 17 ipm. If you need a testimonial for your web site, use this or let me know. Great Job! Best Regards, Chris Klindt |
Peter, I couldn't be happier with my new setup. The faceplate and engraving job ran my mill for almost three straight hours, and ran thousands of lines of code without a single missed step or glitch. For the first time in well over a year I felt comfortable turning my back on the mill and letting it do its thing. I can't wait to build the limit switches, spindle encoder, relay box, and digitizing probe. There's a magazine over here called the Home Shop Machinist. It's published by Village Press. They occasionally run review articles. If you don't mind, I'd like to write a review for your board. I really only have good things to say about it. Thanks again, Tom Benidict |
